Members of the Wilson County Firefighters Association delivered dozens of warm coats to the Wilson County Family Resource Center — ensuring local children have what they need as colder weather moves in.
This effort is made possible through fundraising done year-round by the Wilson County Firefighters Foundation. Our firefighters volunteer their time to raise money so that kids across our county have access to warm, reliable coats when they need them most.
Statement from President Colton Young:
“Our firefighters see firsthand the challenges many families face. Being able to give back — especially to the children of Wilson County — means a great deal to our members. Through the Wilson County Firefighters Foundation, we work all year to ensure no child goes without a warm coat. This is just one small way we can help make sure every child stays warm, safe, and cared for this winter. We’re proud to stand beside the Family Resource Center and support the families who depend on it.”
If you’d like to help us continue providing coats and other support throughout the year, you can make a monetary donation by visiting our website: www.wcffa.org.
We’re honored to serve this community — both on duty and in moments like this, where we can make a difference one child at a time.
