    About Us

    The Wilson County Firefighters Association (WCFFA) is a dedicated organization committed to supporting the brave men and women who serve our community as firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, shop personnel, billing staff, and dispatchers who work for Wilson County EMA. With over 121 members, our mission is to advocate for our members, help them and their families in times of need, and foster a strong connection between emergency responders and the communities they protect.

    Our Mission

    At WCFFA, we strive to:

    • Advocate for the needs and interests of firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, shop personnel, billing staff, and dispatchers across Wilson County.

    • Help our members and their families in times of need.

    • Strengthen community outreach through charitable events and public safety initiatives.

    • Promote camaraderie and unity among emergency responders.

    • Educate the public about fire safety and emergency preparedness.

    Our Initiatives

    We actively engage in a variety of programs and events to support our mission, including:

    • MDA 'Fill the Boot' Drive: Raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help those in need.

    • Firefighter Wellness Programs: Focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

    • Community Engagement Events: Such as the annual Trunk or Treat and Fire Safety Education programs.

    • Operation Warm: Providing winter coats to children in need within our community.

    The Wilson County EMA/Local 4238 Honor Guard and Color Guard is a dedicated team of emergency service personnel committed to honoring fallen first responders, representing the department with professionalism, and participating in ceremonial events across the county and beyond.
